More than ever, we want to be together

In 2019, acclaimed designer Annie Lee sat down with Haworth’s Global Brand Director Kurt Vander Schuur and shared her insights on how social spaces are changing people’s lives. Since then, global circumstances have forced us to become a bit more physically distant. But, even if we’re masked up and 6 feet apart, we will always have an inherent need to be together in shared spaces.

As we return to the workplace, social spaces may be occupied a little differently, but they are occupied. Spaces that support the human experience of interaction and collaboration, as well as restorative activities continue to thrive. Hear from Annie about how sharing these social spaces leads to a culture of greater collaboration and a mindset of accomplishing tasks and goals together.
